Stray Kids has set another remarkable record on Spotify ahead of the release of their new album.

The title track ‘DO IT’ from Stray Kids' upcoming album ‘SKZ IT TAPE’, set to be released on the 21st, has recorded 1 million on Spotify's pre-release interest indicator, the ‘Spotify Countdown’. This is the first time for a K-Pop album, and it ranks third in history globally, following Taylor Swift's ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ and Tame Impala's ‘Deadbeat’.

The new album is also making waves on the ‘Countdown Chart Global Top 10’, which Spotify compiles based on the number of user pre-saves over a week. After reaching number one on the chart dated November 5, it has maintained the top spot for three consecutive weeks until the 19th, proving the high expectations of global fans.

‘SKZ IT TAPE’ is an album that encapsulates the musical mood and identity that Stray Kids aims for. The title tracks are ‘DO IT’ and ‘Fresh Play’, with a total of five songs including ‘Holiday’ and ‘Photobook’. All tracks are produced by the group’s production team 3RACHA, consisting of Bang Chan, Changbin, and Han, promising Stray Kids' unique self-contained sound.

Stray Kids, who have expanded their fandom as a ‘self-producing group’ by crossing over regular, mini, and single albums, is once again showing a strong presence from the Spotify pre-release indicators, drawing attention to their performance after the official release.
