The song ‘SPINNIN' ON IT’ by the group NMIXX has been included in the list of ‘Best Songs of the Year’ by the prominent British music magazine NME.
On the 1st (local time), the British music magazine NME announced on its official website that ‘SPINNIN' ON IT’, a track from NMIXX's first studio album, ranked 43rd in ‘The 50 Best Songs of 2025’.
NME praised ‘SPINNIN' ON IT’, stating, “It expresses a precarious romance with a sweet and bittersweet lyrical pop-rock sensibility,” adding, “The delicately layered percussion and bass line enhance the passionate atmosphere, and as the song progresses, the six members calmly reveal that this chaotic love will ultimately continue.”
NMIXX proved their musical growth with their latest work, the first studio album ‘Blue Valentine’, released in October (KST). The title track ‘Blue Valentine’ maintained the top spot on major Korean music site Melon’s Top 100, daily and weekly charts, and reached the top of the monthly chart in November 2025, marking another career high.
Thanks to the popularity of ‘Blue Valentine’, NMIXX kicked off their debut world tour ‘EPISODE 1: ZERO FRONTIER’ at the Inspire Arena in Incheon on November 29 and 30 (KST). In this performance, which is both their first solo concert and the starting point of the world tour, NMIXX garnered enthusiastic responses from the audience with their solid live performance and choreography befitting a ‘hexagonal girl group’.
The cities for NMIXX's first world tour will be announced sequentially later, and they are expected to meet fans in Korea and other countries with a rich setlist including ‘SPINNIN' ON IT’ and ‘Blue Valentine’.
