Disney+ original series 'Fragmented City' has released preview stills for Episodes 9 and 10, hinting at an unending whirlwind of revenge and cursed fate. Park Tae-jung (Ji Chang-wook), who lived an ordinary life, finds himself imprisoned after being falsely accused of being a vicious criminal, only to discover that all of this was the meticulous design of one man, Han Yo-han (Do Kyung-soo), leading him to seek revenge in this action drama 'Fragmented City' as it officially enters its second act.
The newly released stills capture Tae-jung sprinting to chase the real culprit of the 'Fragment incident' with the support of his reliable allies, Choi Yong-sik (Kim Jong-soo) and Eun-bi (Jo Yoon-soo), as well as the cold gazes of Han Yo-han, who is consumed by madness, and Baek Do-kyung (Lee Kwang-soo), creating extreme tension.
As Tae-jung pieces together all the puzzle pieces and approaches the truth, he confronts the real culprit with anger. He secretly records the culprit's testimony, hoping to hold the 'killing card' that will turn the tables, but soon finds himself in a crisis as he is discovered by the culprit's subordinates and locked in a warehouse. Just as Yong-sik and Eun-bi manage to locate Tae-jung and rescue him, they too are targeted as new prey, putting their lives in jeopardy.
Tae-jung vows revenge without retreating, saying, "Just wait a little longer, I will come for you soon," but blocking his path are not only Han Yo-han but also Chief Hwang and the prison guards who are relentlessly pursuing him as an escaped convict. As the situation becomes a full-blown confrontation with nowhere to turn, curiosity grows about what choice Tae-jung will make.
Meanwhile, Baek Do-kyung, already in a state of rampage, threatens Tae-jung, saying, "Is it okay if I kill you right now?" raising the stakes of danger. Observing the situation where everyone is hunting Tae-jung, Han Yo-han smiles with a mix of joy and says, "I wonder how you'll handle it this time, Park Tae-jung," adding a chilling effect. The triangular confrontation between Tae-jung, Yo-han, and Do-kyung rushing towards each other foreshadows that the upcoming developments will be anything but ordinary.
As Tae-jung gets closer to the truth, he falls deeper into danger. Whether he can break the vicious cycle of his terrible fate with Han Yo-han and achieve a satisfying revenge will likely be revealed through Episodes 9 and 10.
